Architecture project

This last project has taken up all my time an energy over the past 6 weeks, so here's a quick summery of it all:

First we set off taking pictures of the modern Architecture from around college, how very lucky we are to have such modern surroundings! Here area few photos:

We then drew pictures, painted, distorted, abstracted, photoshoped, mono and gold card printed the photos so that we got the best outcomes possible, unfortunatly my books ar in for marking so I don't have any examples, it was a lot of work though!
We then took a trip up to London too take photo's of all the architecture, it was very interesting and I got some good photo's

All the work we did after our trip went towards our final pieces, I make a clock and a collage, these are the only pictures I took of them, they wern't too successful

Spring Jewlery :)

This is the jewlery I made from all of the wasted springs, the necklace and earings have been made by soldering the springs together and the bracelet has been made by weaving the springs together to create a mesh. The chain that is used is made out of the left over springs from the smaller pegs.

Peg Jewlery :)

This jewlery has been made with the same sort of pegs I made my scarf out of, but with a drilled hole through the middle so they are easily threaded. The red peg was made by binding thread round a peg to create a smooth finish.

Peg Scarf :)

Here are some of my favourite pictures of my peg scarf in the woods :)

Peg Scarf Ideas :)

For my project at college I have to make a scarf out of pegs. I've decided to break the pegs in half, remove the springs and glue the backs ot the two halves together to create a very symetrical and organic shape, I then glue around 20 of them together in a circle to create a large cog shape. I've been experimenting with different ideas of attaching the cogs together and using some tiny pegs to add detail from all angles, here are some of the ideas I had:
